Battersea Reach Bridge
A cycle and footbridge has been proposed across the Thames from Chelsea Harbour to Battersea, adjacent to the West London Line rail bridge.
This bridge would cost £18m to construct, and would carry an estimated 480 pedestrian and cycle trips per day, rising to 1500 upon the successful provision of Imperial Wharf station, as it would extend the catchment area of that station into the area around Battersea High Street.
Unfortunately the level of demand isn't high enough for TfL to justify the construction and future maintenance costs, and additional finance would be needed to build the bridge.
