Tufnell Park GOBLIN station
Islington Council & the LTUC propose a reinstated station on the Gospel Oak - Barking line, which passes very close to Tufnell Park Northern Line station.
There was originally a station at Tufnell Park on the Gospel Oak - Barking Line (GOBLIN), as evidenced by "Station Road" which runs off Junction Road.
Reinstating the station would be cheap, since it only has to serve small 2-car trains on the hourly GOBLIN service - yet it would immediately make this line more useful for journeys in north east London, since it would expand the line's catchment area to all those stations on the High Barnet / Mill Hill East branch of the Northern Line.
