Leyton Bakers Arms station
The rail users' group for the Barking - Gospel Oak line want to see Leyton (Bakers Arms) station on Lea Bridge Road reopened.
This station used to be where the line crosses Lea Bridge Road. The crossroads nearby serves a large number of bus routes, making interchange here relatively attractive. The crossroads is also a small commercial centre in its own right.
Other proposals exist for a station further down Lea Bridge Road, once Lea Valley line services to Stratford are reintroduced.
